Efficiency of fuel injection into internal combustion engine can only be achieved by an accurate, reliable and real time viscosity control.

The injection of incorrect viscosity generates numbers of side effects, like excessive fuel consumption, pollution, deposits on valves and piston heads and an increase of contamination in lube-oil.

At Sofmares, an innovative technology is developed for the accurate measurement of viscosity for fuel oil applications. The technique used in the Visc-Easy ®, sets Sofmares apart from other viscometer manufacturers. This new measurement principle is based on an improvement of the well-known and experienced vibrating rod at resonance frequency. Through this new principle, it is now possible to measure accurate viscosity, density and temperature without frequent calibration or maintenance.
